Pharmacy Library's Cultural Aspects of Health Care: A Toolkit for Pharmacy Education is a resource designed to equip pharmacy educators with practical tools for learners to better serve individuals from diverse cultures, communities, and populations. This toolkit provides a collection of active learning strategies and reflection activities for educators to integrate cultural aspects into existing health care courses and educational seminars within pharmacy and other related disciplines.
Clinical Pharmacology's Patient Education resource allows you to create customizable patient education handouts. Just search by condition or drug name, add patient name, provider name, any special instructions, etc. and print! Patient Education handouts are available in English or Spanish.
Lexicomp's Patient Education. The Patient Education Module provides the capability to print complete patient educational packets with information on medications, conditions, and/or procedures. The condition/procedure leaflets are available in English and Spanish, while the adult- and pediatric-specific medication leaflets are available in up to 19 languages.
Micromedex Patient Handouts are available in individual drug monographs.
UpToDate's Patient Information. UpToDate offers different levels of patient education materials to meet the varying information needs of your patients. Materials in Spanish are available.
Natural Medicines offers Patient Handouts on foods, herbs, and supplements used in integrative medicine. These handouts are available in English, Spanish, and sometimes French. Search the food, herb, or supplement, click on the drug monograph, and select the patient handout at top.
