Using and Navigating the Library Homepage

This page will help you understand how to navigate the Library's Homepage. See a description of each numbered arrow below. 


1) Selected Tools

The Selected Tools menu includes some of our most used tools and databases. 

- Use the Library catalog, A-Z Journals, and A-Z Database links to find resources through the Library.

- The Course Textbook guide shows library holdings arranged by course for the current semester.

- The Interlibrary Loan page provides information on ILL and Clio (the Library's ILL service).

- The "How to Use TUC Library Resources" guide has tutorials, help pages, and helpful information on using the Library's resources. 

2) Program Research Guides & Special Topic Guides

The TUC librarians have created guides for each program that highlight the Library resources and services that can support your education. To find the guide for the Education Doctoral program, go --> Program Research Guides --> Education --> Education Research Guide (Doctoral Students).

The librarians have also created guides on special topics, like Racial Justice, LGBQTIA+, and Virtual Reality. Many of these guides have pages specifically for educators. 

3) Study Room Reservations

Go here if you would like to reserve a private study room in the Library. 

4) Daily and Full Semester Hours

Daily hours are posted on the Library homepage. To see future Library hours, click on Full Library Hours. We also post when a librarian will be available to assist you. 

5) Library Contact Information and Library Directory

Contact us by phone or email. You can also visit the Library Directory page to find contact information for all Library faculty and staff members. 

6) Library News

Find out about new Library resources, trials, and happenings in the Library on the Library News website.
