Start a Review

Creating a Review Using Your TUC Covidence Account

1. Sign in to Covidence.

2. Click the blue box that says "Start a new review."

3. Complete all the fields.

  • Are you creating a Cochrane Review? Answer yes or no.
  • Name your review. Enter a name for your review; this can be changed later.
  • Review type. Select the type of review (systematic, scoping, umbrella, etc.).
  • Area of Research. Select the area of research.
  • Which account do you want to use? Select Touro University California.

4. Click the blue box that says "Create Review."

5. You will then be redirected to the "Settings" page where you can invite or remove other reviewers.

Configure the settings to:

  • Invite others (including co-reviewers) to your review (16:51)
  • Determine team roles for screening (18:41)
  • Enter keywords, which will then be highlighted in records for title/abstract screening (24:05)
  • Establish inclusion and exclusion criteria for full-text screening (24:05)
